Cute Snacks for the Mondayist Tuesday Ever
Yall! It has been a day! I mean a true MONDAY…except I am pretty sure it is Tuesday. I think. I don’t know for real. No matter!
I def need to do something to de stress. Baking it is. Mixing wet and dry ingredients in precise measurements seems like science but more fun so I’ll take it. Thank God for measuring cups and spoons. Imagine if I had to weigh out ingredients on a scale or just magically guess what one tablespoon looks like compared to a teaspoon – I promise you wouldn’t be able to eat it!
Being it has been the most Mondayist Tuesday ever, I think we will all be safer if I just stick to things I can layer together. The only thing I am interested in measuring today is a MEGA PINT of sweet red wine. You need a glass too?
My kids love anything that looks festive and fancy so BOOM…. VDay inspired pretzels it is.
Yall do realize Valentine’s Day will be here before you blink so you need some tricks up your sleeve to make your kids think you are that #1 MOM they hear about on TikTok. This snack is so quick and easy and it looks cute too. This is bound to score you a point or two with the fam.
If you have utterly failed your kids like I have (and they can’t cook), just toss a little flour on your face just before anyone comes into the kitchen. Your littles and bigs will think you spent all day meticulously handcrafting this adorable little snack.
Let me know how they like it.
I’ll post my little’s review later. Trust me when I say she is honest to a fault, even if I don’t like her answer.
Edited to add…just let the kids put this together! It takes entirely too much time (and for people with out patience it is a nightmare) taking off these shiny wrappers with this little piece of paper that sticks right to the chocolate. Who on earth thought that was a great ides? Anyone know if they even make a bag already upwrapped? Bonus points if you can point me in the right direction.
