-
Cook bacon, dice and set aside.
-
Cook chicken breasts in 2 tablespoons butter. Salt and pepper to taste.
-
Drain and set chicken aside. (I sliced my chicken into bite sized pieces.)
-
In the meantime, cook bowtie pasta according to package directions. (I cooked mine for about 13 minutes and it was perfect.)
-
Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
-
Add milk, heavy cream, chicken broth, and flour to the pan with the garlic.
-
Whisk until smooth.
-
Cook on medium to low heat until sauce thickens.
-
Add parmesan to sauce once it has thickened. If sauce gets too thick, add a little chicken broth to thin it out without losing flavor.
-
Add cooked and drained bowtie pasta.
-
Toss pasta and sauce together.
-
Add parsley and stir.
-
Mix in diced chicken and bacon.
-
Toss until everything is covered with sauce.
-
Add salt and pepper to taste.
-
Serve hot.
-
Enjoy.
